Brent D. Peterson


Brent is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and Associate Professor of Theology at Northwest Nazarene University.  He has a wonderful wife, Anne, and two great kids Noah and Alexis.  His penance in life is cheering for all Seattle sports teams.  Check out his latest book, Created to Worship: God's Invitation to Become Fully Human.





WEDNESDAY - BELONGING TO A COMMUNITY
Laurryn P. McDaniel

Laurryn is a member of Christ's Community Church of the Nazarene in southwest Indiana.  She earned bachelor degrees in French and Criminal Justice from Olivet Nazarene University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Louisville.  She and her husband Matt are enjoying the experience of being brand new parents. THURSDAY - THE CHURCH CALENDAR
Alec Ellis
Alec Ellis is a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University and this year received an MA in Theology from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He begins an MA in Library Science from San Jose State University this fall. He currently lives in Shawnee, Ks. with his wife, but is originally from California where they hope to return to soon. He enjoys cooking, reading all sorts of books, watching wildlife, and camping. Alec would love to tell you something on his blog.




FRIDAY - YOUTH MINISTRY IN THE LOCAL CHURCH
Matthew Fry
Matt is the Associate/Youth Pastor at Whitesville Christian Church in Crawfordsville, Indiana.  Before returning "home" to Indiana, he and his wife lived in Florida where Matt served as Youth Ministry Coordinator at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene.  This week he will be blogging from the New Mexico District Youth Camp where he is the speaker for the week.  You can read more from Matt on his adventures in youth ministry and fatherhood on his blog or follow him on twitter.
